We’re looking for a to join our Sales and Go to Market team. This is a newly created role to be positioned at the heart of setting sales & channel strategy, defining and adjusting relevant targets and tracking progress to achieve those targets.

Furthermore, strong analytical skills and business dynamics understanding will be required to analyse and advise on corrective action, if needed.

Reporting to the Go-To Market Operations Director, with a dotted line to the General Manager, you will effectively be the right arm of the GTM director and play a key role in achieving the strategic and financial objectives of the sales function.


Key responsibilities include :

  • Coordinates the annual sales target setting and sales budgeting.
  • Supports and coordinates the annual channel management planning in conjunction with Sales channel leaders, Trade Marketing Managers for each channel and Demand Planners.
  • Represents the respective Sales channel in new key initiatives forecast meetings
  • Monitors channel actuals vs. sales targets and vs. Plan and advises on areas and actions of improvement.
  • Coordinates Sales KPI reporting and performance tracking
  • Leads a weekly Sales Strategy meeting with the go-to-Market Operations Director
  • Leads the coordination of Sales input into S&OP process (actual planning remains the remit of the Channel Manager and Trade Marketing Manager)
  • Represents field / DSO channel in S&OP forums in addition to TMM
  • Analyses competitive insights and practices and recommends suitable actions
  • Analyses channel KPIs and Key Business Drivers. Recommends actions based on data analysis and insights from Sales Channel leaders.
  • Monitors key sales contracts
  • Experience

  • 7 years + experience in a Sales, Analyst, Trade Marketing or Business Facing Sales Finance Role
  • Advantageous - experience in business planning; good understanding of Sales KBD (Key Business Drivers) and problem solving
  • Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and are familiar with complex data management.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and are able to effectively collaborate with colleagues across various departments and from different management levels.
  • Strong ability to turn data / analysis / insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage top management in presentation requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability y to see the big picture and work on strategies, whilst still providing strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organization skills; you are able to prioritise effectively and work under pressure on short deadlines.
  • You have experience in managing business or finance analysts.
  • You are at ease with business score carding, data-based decision making, and you are a proficient Excel user.
