The Accounting Support team is part of Business Planning and Reporting Services, which provides a wide range of financial and management accounting services to the University, supporting the management of an organisation that has a turnover of over £300m annually.
You will be part of a team that provides accounting support to Faculty and Professional Service Finance Business Partners across all aspects of the University’s operations.

About You :
You will be a professional and self-motivated individual with pro-active approach to work, you will be able to organise and prioritise a personal workload, and demonstrate a flexible approach to delivering team results against tight deadlines.
You will demonstrate the ability to understand and (clearly and effectively) communicate complex financial regulations and information to different audiences using appropriate techniques.
You will have a sound understanding of financial & management accounting and be able to demonstrate proficiency and experience in working with standard office IT applications (such as Microsoft Excel) and a computer based accounting system.
You will be able to develop and maintain a wide range of strong working relationships to liaise effectively with other departments across the University, and demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly and effectively to different audiences using appropriate techniques.
