We are recruiting for a Lead Direct Material Project Manager to lead the key projects as senior project manager.
You will manage and develop the Direct Material Project Manager team as well as develop the procedure of the direct material project management.
You will ensure flawless and timely implementation according to the project planning whilst facilitating cross functional team work and reviews.
You will interface with internal customers to understand projects timing milestones, expectations and conduct project status reviews.
Be a key member of the change management committee network and facilitate the Sector Change Management Committee Reviews.
Lead the Direct Raw Material Project Management team.
Determine project scope and allocate and assign project resources.
Develop the procedure of the direct material project management in line with the NPI process.
Review the risk assessment from the Manufacturing Feasibility Assessment completed by direct raw material project management team, in conjunction with a cross-functional or cross-sector team where appropriate
Escalate through the Procurement organisation and coordinate with the Sales, Technology, Quality, Supply Chain and Operation functions to facilitate decision-making by Senior Management on a project basis.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the project management process to ensure a standard way of working.
Managing the Key Direct Raw Material Project through to SOP.
Develop project timelines / gant charts based on internal customer and internal key milestones
Lead the Direct Raw Material Project according to the project planning.
Working with all relevant departments within JM’s organization.
Leads global / multi-sites projects an coordination of complex projects
Develop and deploy Projects Management tools and structure within Sector : Risk Management, Escalation, Open Issues Lists, Mitigation Plans, Projects KPI’s (QCD)
Identify and standardize with the support of local country projects managers, projects Milestones and deliverables of site customers.
The role may involve international travel
Are you the ideal candidate?
You will have / be :
A degree in a relevant subject or equivalent professional experience.
Experience working as a Project Manager in chemical industry.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build high performance team
The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
Experience gained within the Automotive industry would be desirable.
Experience working in a matrix organisation with a multi-cultural team and customers base.
Excellent communication, presentation, organisation, and influencing skills along with an excellent customer focus.
The ability to lead and influence a cross functional project team
