We are currently recruiting for a Business Solutions Consultant to join the Global Human Resources Technology team in Camberley.
You will own your own portfolio of technology-driven initiatives for a single business unit / LOB partner and you will be responsible for management of a client / business area in a component of its information technology-
related activities. This role will give you the opportunity to be able to lead more junior team members and other people within the team.
What will your responsibilities include?
Business relationship management, liaison to Global Human Resources and Shared Service Providers (SSPs)
Building Technology engagement throughout the Alight Application Management Services (AMS) relationship for Workday - driving strategic planning for the use of the platform
Being ccountable for reviewing change and project requests, validating requirements and design, enforce testing, and verifying the production release
Validating configuration set-up within Workday platform
Engaging with Vendor Support partners to review issues and drive toward resolution
Providing leadership, and management with a focus on ensuring delivery and execution are being managed against strategic goals and direction, in accordance with all Bank of America processes and policies
Handling solution leads, analysts and process leads to achieve defined goals
Handling budgets, monitoring progress, adjusting resources and priorities accordingly
Providing application oversight working closely with application and / or vendor managers
What skills / competencies will you possess?
Reputation of leading with appropriate edge, independent thinking and being decisive
Excellent execution track record with varying experiences delivering technology solutions in development, architecture, service delivery, testing and / or project management roles
Detailed knowledge of the policies that govern technology at Bank of America from change management standards, programming standards, engineering design, maintenance, application activities, compliance, risk and security standards
Experience with build / maintain partnerships in a client driven environment and can demonstrate partnership during situations and challenges
Ability to collaborate, influence with a good track record of influencing business and technology partners
Ability to operate in a matrixed environment
Excellent communication skills and presentation skills, business-minded
Good project management skills; establish and maintain solid management routines and can demonstrate flexibility
Additional key skills include consulting skills and conflict resolution, driving innovative business solutions, and use technical, enterprise, and business knowledge
