With over 20,000 events per minute, their platform generates a huge amount of data, all of which is captured to help provide meaningful insight into their users.
The Data Engineer will be creating Python scripts, powered using AWS Lambda, to extract data from the platform and APIs.
You’ll be depositing this data into Snowplow and S3 buckets, before it’s structured using SQL and sent to AWS Redshift to be analysed by the team of Data Scientists.
A big part of the Data Engineer role you will be to help the business move towards streaming real-time data using Spark.
This will help them with their goal to drive the user experience using Machine Learning.
