We are expanding our academic provision and are seeking to appoint a temporary (to cover maternity leave) Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to join our team of experienced academic staff in the Children, Young People & Communities Team.
We are looking for an inspiring and enthusiastic person to make a key contribution to our academic provision through inspiring high quality teaching, research and enterprise.
To be considered for interview applicants are required to have a postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject. Whilst a doctorate is desirable, you will also need to hold a first degree.
You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of current policy and practice issues for the profession of Playwork and show evidence of high quality teaching at undergraduate level.
Professional knowledge of some of the following would be advantageous : Childhood, developmental psychology, play policy development and strategic and operational play service delivery.
