General Manager - India :
The General Manager - India has overall responsibility for the P&L, online sales, results, growth strategy and brand identity of the Myprotein India website and the app.
You will be responsible for managing regional and country manager (Marketing / Trading) to maximise growth in sales and brand awareness across India.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
An all-round understanding of running a business in India covering multiple areas such as Finance, Commercial, Legal, Compliance, Imports, Operations, Trading and Marketing.
Ownership and management of the Myprotein brand in India, including product reviews, product content, social media and forums.
Managing and training Executives (trading / marketing) in day to day running of website and social / e-mail / app channels.
Identifying new and innovative ways to drive traffic to the India website including developing and improving traffic from existing channels.
Conducting analysis to improve conversion, site optimisation and customer journey.
Developing relationships with key websites, prioritising new customer acquisition at the most efficient cost possible.
Work in synergy with the rest of the Myprotein international team to identify new growth opportunities and ways in which to improve brand presence and reputation in India.
Deliver best in class customer experience, partnering closely with Design and Editorial teams to brief and build engaging product pages that provide the customer with relevant information, advice and conversion opportunity.
Responsible for operations, understanding of the warehouse workings, stock forecast, New Product Development launch and strategic initiatives.
Understanding the need for new payment methods and strategic alliances that enhance the growth and also build the credibility of the brand in the region.
Work with the brand Marketing team for India and the Central Marketing teams.
Experience : 7-11 years within market of India, across multiple verticals of a business.
Experience within an e-commerce retail business running a trading website - (Minimum 4 years).
Experience with P&L Management.
Strong Understanding of e-commerce and digital marketing channels.
Top level graduate with a strong academic track record (Preferred Degrees : Business, Economics, Marketing)
Startup mentality with experience of running a medium to large business with high growth rate.
Hindi and English language skills both written and verbal.
Proven communication and influencing skills from junior executives to c-suite.
Experience in managing teams and multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Commercially astute and ambitious, with a drive for success and strong commercial responsibility.
