Overview of role

We are looking for a diligent OOHAccount Director with extensive experience in OOH planning and has a good understanding of how OOH fits in the wider media system and how to leverage those opportunities through great relationships with Kinetic and our key media owner partners.

A key part of your role will be ensuring the delivery of guarantees across all the clients you work on.You will have the opportunity to be involved in innovative, ground-breaking work, on clients such asCosta, Muller, Bayer and Nuffield among others.

Experience of working and negotiating with auditors is essential to this role.

You will be responsible for managing your clients, developing yourteamand working with the Senior Associate Directors andDirectors in the OOH team to manage the shape of the team and provide leadership and direction for each of the OOH specialists in the team.

Reporting of the role

This role is across three ofMediaCom’sinternal Business Units. The role reports directly toanOOH Director, who you will work closely with to ensure the smooth running of the team and delivery of client guarantees.

You will also work closely withtherest of the OOH team as we use an agile approach to manage resource across all the Business Groups.

    Measures of success

    In three months, you would have :

  • Built strong relationships internally with your multimedia implementational colleagues, Kinetic counterparts and your Comms Planners on your roster of clients.
  • Gained a good understanding of the client businesses which you will oversee.
  • Overseen the delivery of all OOH plans and responses on time and without errors.
  • Built strong relationships with your clients and relevant media owners.
  • In six months, you would have :

  • Developed a good working relationship with other internal specialist teams at MediaCom e.g. Creative Systems and Systems Intelligence.
  • Presented your OOH strategies and plans to your clients as part of a connected multimedia response to their brief.
  • Built relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • In 12 months, you would have :

  • Delivered demonstrable revenue growth within your group of clients
  • Helped to nurture a happy and motivated team of OOH specialists who have a vision for how their careers can grow
  • Been involved with the implementational work required for a new business pitch
  • Entered your best-in-class work for an industry award(s)
  • Responsibilities of the role

    PEOPLE

  • Youwill need to demonstrate management and delegation skills in the motivation and progression of more junior members of the OOH team.
  • Collaborating with your cross-channel Implementation, Investment and Kinetic counterparts.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with media owners and with your day-to day clients.
  • PRODUCT

  • Ensure you are delivering and sharing brilliant basics in OOH implementational planning.
  • Have detailed knowledge of all relevant industry and GroupM proprietary tools.
  • Be highly competent in the construction and telling of compelling implementational stories (i.e. role for channel within the system, flighting, weighting, formats, connections to other media etc.
  • and justification of your recommendations.

  • Understand how to conceive, evaluate and deliver content partnerships.
  • PROCESS

  • Work with and support the wider members of the teams you work with (Comms planning and OOH) to establish great ways of working in response to briefs.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions.
  • COMMERCIAL

  • Work closely with Kinetic to understand your clients’ buying targets.
  • Good understanding of your clients’ terms of business.
