We are currently looking for not one but three Assessment Centre Managers to join our team in London. You will be the single point of accountability for delivery of volume, quality, and service level performance targets of our Assessment Centres (AC).

Your role is responsible for leadership and oversight of AC operations, including assessments, quality assurance, customer service, candidate management, health & safety and admin activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make sure that the volumes, quality, and service levels are delivered
  • Encouraging open and transparent communication style with the team
  • Investigate and resolve candidate complaints and raise serious complaints as the need arises
  • Communicate any changes in assessment policies and procedures
  • Manage and schedule own work and the work of others to contractually agreed timescales, quality and service levels
  • Identify and implement improvements
  • Maintain and update procedural documentation
  • Stay in sync with regulatory and Corporate requirements
  • Collate, produce and analyse performance and management information reports, providing insight and opportunities for value adding services
  • Empower, lead and develop the team to enable effective and consistent delivery of face-to-face or online resourcing services
  • Ensure that contractually agreed processes, standards, timescales and quality requirements are adhered to
  • Contribute to the external and internal quality assurance activities
  • Supporting the quality assurance process within assessment centres
  • Adopts an approach to train, coach and mentor team members ensuring they have the knowledge, skills and tools to deliver the service
  • Build and maintain great relationships with a range of partners, SSCL staff and candidates
  • Skills and experience :

    You need to have :

  • Motivational leadership within organisational change with effective outcomes
  • Previous selection and assessment experience, or experience in events with sophisticated logistical demands.
  • Experience in delivering high volume and face to face and or online services to time and quality standards
  • Adopts a coaching and mentoring approach with quantifiable success growing individuals
  • Displays excellent interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to prioritise and motivate the team to deliver work to deadlines and a high standard
  • Work independently with minimal direction
  • Attention to detail and excellent record keeping
  • Ability to make and communicate difficult decisions and messages
  • A dedication to continuous professional development
  • Strong organisational skills
  • IT Skills : Excel, Word, Powerpoint and CMS systems
  • It would be great if you had :

  • Professional QCF assessor qualifications, or alternatively, the equivalent national NVQ assessor awards
