Want to work within a varied and challenging area that continues to evolve? The GFX team are always working in an ongoing effort to improve processes and efficiency and they seek to add value to our Global Operational Support functions.

You will have the opportunity to build relationships with a variety of our business partners including Settlements, Confirmations and RDS and the team always support those with new ideas to make positive changes and try to encourage them to get involved with projects and testing.

What will your key responsibilities include?

  • Working with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely set up of Settlement and confirmation Static
  • Effective SSI management. Reviewing all SSI static loaded per clients, making the necessarily updates as required
  • Project managing the clients Static from data management perspective. Updating proactively ahead of client trading
  • Providing operational expertise and support to our clients Internal and External
  • Add value though implementation of improvements to the system infrastructure & control environment. Raising Ideas on reducing manual work and increasing STP and building out these ideas into production
  • Communicate updates and escalation to senior management as and when required
  • Following up on all outstanding issues / escalations
  • Involvement in projects and ad-hoc testing

  • Analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation
  • Excellent organisational skills - ability to switch between tasks and to prioritize work effectively
  • Excellent communication skills - Ability to run effective meetings and engage knowledgably and confidently with different partners across the organization, building solid relationships with both Internal and External clients
  • Ability to learn and develop in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Logical problem solver with a hunger for process improvement
  • Analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretation
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy along with excellent communication skills this will be required to communicate with all various levels of employees
  • Be competent with MS Office products : Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Thrives in a team based environment working toward common goals
  • Good sense of judgment, knows when to escalate and how to manage expectations
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience of Investment Banking Environment
  • Product Experience with FX
