Due to exciting new instructions and continued growth, we are now seeking a Technician or Consultant to join our Graphics team in Cirencester.
It is preferable that the successful candidate is within commutable distance of the office, although this is not essential as home working will be supported for a proportion of the working week.
We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic, and highly organised team player to work on a range of projects supporting our in-house technical teams in the field of planning and development.
In the role you will be primarily processing and interrogating GIS data and data capture and assisting our friendly consultant team to create technical plans and feasibility reports.
Our ideal candidate will be proactive, positive and a confident communicator. You will have first class computer and graphic skills and excellent verbal and visual presentation abilities.
The successful candidate will be able to visually communicate using GIS software. Our current platform is QGIS. In addition to this, experience in the following software would be desirable :
You will have a good understanding of Ordnance Survey mapping and geographical data sets and ideally some knowledge of property / construction / environmental planning.
