Inchcape UK - Social Media Executive

Inchcape is a world leader in automotive distribution and retailing, operating in 26 international markets as a strategic partner to the world’s leading premium and luxury car brands.

In the UK, we employ c 3,500 employees and operate our business from over 80 retail centres.

We are looking for someone to join us and be an integral part of our Marketing function. You will form part of a team of 24, all remote based which include, Marketing Managers, CRM Managers, A Customer Experience team and a fully operational Design Studio of 7.

Role Responsibility

As a Social Media Executive, you will :

  • Support the Divisional Marketing Managers and all dealers with captivating campaigns and content.
  • Manage Inchcape Group Page and Brand Pages through our social media management tool Falcon. Deal with the day-to-day admin and issues with the platform.
  • Monitor and coach dealers on utilising their social channels better.
  • Work within a team to deliver a brand-building content plan.
  • Attend dealer and group events to post live on social media.
  • Develop innovative ideas and campaigns to push company ahead of the competition.
  • Create editorial calendars to schedule content and share with the marketing team.
  • Ownership of social media channels, engaging with the automotive community and influencers to build relationships and strategy.
  • Create reports to measure the success of organic campaigns.
  • Social channels content is up to date and in line with brand ambition Imagery and dealer information
  • Define key metrics to report on how our content is being received and deliver consumer insights.
  • Reporting social media campaign performance via weekly and monthly performance reports.

    As a Social Media Executive, you will have :

  • A strong interest in everything Automotive
  • Creatively minded, with a desire to succeed and an excellent writer and communicator.
  • A 'can do’ attitude towards operating within a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the latest social media platforms and trends.
  • Work in a large team of marketing and digital professionals
  • Previous experience in a Social media role or with social media influence awareness
