The General Theatre Department undertakes a wide range of specialties in both the elective and emergency settings including Orthopedic Trauma, ENT, Max Fax, Plastics, Vascular, General Surgery including upper GI / Colo-rectal and Urology and Robotic Urology procedures.

Within this Department you will be required to participate in on calls and evening, weekend, and night working.

If you are new to the region, Devon has many areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. These include the national parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor, the coastal towns and seaside resorts of two beautiful coastlines and many picturesque villages.

Exeter itself has many modern amenities with very good road, rail and air transport links.
