Cyber Security Sales Specialist

With operations in over 180 countries supporting some of the world’s largest companies, from financial institutions to pharmaceuticals, we have a unique perspective on cyber-crime.
We have built a team of 2,500 experts in 14 global centres. Constantly watching, learning, predicting and responding to threats to protect us and our customers from these threats.
To continue to help organisations get ahead of the threat curve and simplify the uncertainty and complexity of security issues , we are looking to recruit additional experienced sales people to join us in this exciting and ever challenging environment
What you'll be doing
To acquire, grow and defend profitable security business, to achieve specific targets by identifying new and qualified security opportunities, and selling Security related propositions and products in the UK and globally as required.
To provide specialist advice on the security portfolio, to account owners, to ensure the most appropriate proposition to meet the client’s needs is developed and presented in the most compelling way.
Field Sales experience with proven track record with specific skills around security products / managed services , Firewalls / DDOS -
distribution denial of service, identity access management, SIEM etc.
Excellent Client relationship management with the ability to engage at appropriate levels in a client organisation to understand :
the current technology 'blueprint' and planned technology roadmap
the financial & procurement processes
Able to identify the most appropriate products, from both a technical and commercial standpoint, to meet a client’s requirements must therefore have a clear knowledge of all propositions and products in their portfolioto understand :
the technical architecture for the wide range of appropriate products
the features and benefits of each component product (i.e. the business need which each product addresses and the benefits it delivers)
the principal vendors (BT Partners) in each product category
the potential financial benefits (ROI) for each component product
the available pricing tools and order processes
Quickly learn to position BT as a trusted partner and can articulate Why BT relative to the Security portfolio and the propositions, supported by suitable case studies.
