Role Summary :

Provide complete quality support to the company and will have experience in a similar role within the production of high-volume metal components.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing data
  • Use 8D structured problem solving to ensure issues are resolved promptly and lessons are learnt to prevent re-occurrence
  • Participate in problem solving and root-cause analysis
  • Assist in developing and implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement activities
  • Review / approve PPAP submissions and maintain documentation in an organized manner
  • Comply with all ISO9001 / IATF16949, ISO 14001 (Environmental) and OHSA (Health and Safety) systems and standards
  • Implement containment activities
  • Carry out internal and supplier audits
  • Perform testing of rubber products (hardness, specific gravity) - training will be provided
  • Support all aspects of inspection and production and troubleshoot issues

    Seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to work alongside manufacturing teams and advise on quality related day to day issues.

    The Quality Engineer in manufacturing is responsible for assuring that manufacturing processes are in compliance with ISO / IATF Quality Management System

    Key Competencies : Essential :

    Essential :

  • Extensive experience working in similar roles within automotive industry
  • Experience in working with ISO 9001 / IATF (TS) 16949 standard,
  • Fully conversant with / competent in : Relevant measurement equipment / techniques Engineering drawings and geometric tolerances Interpretation of measurement reports
  • Desirable :

  • HNC preferable in Quality, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial engineering
  • Experience in working with CMM, PC-DMIS
  • Experience in working with ISO 14001
  • Experience of testing in lab environment
