Staff Nurse - Inpatient Unit (newly qualified or experienced)

£24,214-£28,186 per year (pro rata) (dependent on experience), plus shift enhancements (potentially an average of 15% on top of basic salary)

  • Upon satisfactory completion of Preceptorship Programme, salary will increase to £28,186 per year, plus shift enhancements.
  • Flexible hours, 22.5 - 37.5 hours per week, to include shifts, weekends and nights. Family Friendly shifts also available : Twilight (8pm - midnight) and Morning (9am - 2pm)

    These are exciting times for Thames Hospice. We have planning permission for a larger purpose built facility due for completion in 2020, whereby we will be developing and extending our existing services.

    At present we are looking to expand our number of RGN's. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to complement our team of qualified Nurses on the Inpatient Unit.

    We are a supportive team and provide high standards of nursing care to up to 17 patients.

    Palliative care experience is desirable but not essential. The post requires the ability to work shifts which includes nights from time to time.

    We welcome applications from newly qualified Nurses who would like to complete their preceptorship year at Thames Hospice.

    There is opportunity to develop professionally and we will provide clinical training to support your specialist care and symptom management skills.
