Solve issues on projects of national importanceWorking closely with other members of one of our Government Relationship teams, you’ll make sure the IT services we provide our customers meet all agreed KPIs and are as smooth and efficient as possible.
IT management is a key focus of the role, as you provide the first point of escalation for customers on critical, high-profile projects whenever any service issues arise.
To be successful, you will need to build key relationships across FCO Services, with product owners, service desk professionals and other technical experts behind the scenes.
And, of course, you’ll need to shape and manage our relationships with customers as well, identifying growth opportunities and driving service improvements wherever you can.
Make your influence felt inside and outside the businessThe extensive business management experience you bring to this role will enable you to play a pivotal role in our customer relationships.
Internally, you will be able to inject real energy into the team, ensuring technical colleagues continue to deliver the highest level of service.
Externally, you will draw on your excellent IT and relationship management skills to keep customers happy at all times.A key part of the role will be to act as translator between technical teams and non-
technical customers. So you will need a thorough understanding of IT products and processes, and will ideally have an ITIL v3 qualification as well.
