In order to drive forward the growth of PAS we are seeking Change Senior Managers with relevant expertise to support the growth of the team and successfully deliver client assignments.

Your key responsibilities In this role, your responsibilities will include core consulting and programme delivery across your area of expertise, project management activities will also include :

  • Structure and manage projects and programmes to meet and exceed client expectations;
  • Implement leading project management practices
  • Execute project management across the full lifecycle of programmes
  • Manage project delivery, budget, profitability and scope
  • Recognise and manage risks and issues
  • Represent your teams, workstreams and projects in relevant steering committees
  • Be able to analyse complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of a culture service, engagement offering and people strategies.
  • Proactively manage senior client stakeholders, including delivering difficult messages and managing performance issues, up to Senior Management and C-Suite levels.
  • Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement
  • Business Development

  • Generating profitable revenue - selling major PAS programmes through developing lasting relationships with clients, through business development and account management leadership
  • Delivery - developing, shaping and delivering PAS programmes of work, with our industry account teams and other practice areas.
  • Assumes operational responsibility and accountability for assignments and delivery teams to drive the client’s agenda

  • Growing a business - actively contributing to the ongoing development of the PAS practice, supporting the rapid, profitable growth of the business as a member of the management team, bringing innovative ideas for development
  • Communications - responsible for representing the PAS practice in relevant management forums
  • Practice and People management

  • Building and leading a team - accountability for establishing cohesive and committed ways for teams to work closely and effectively together, including coaching
  • Providing and facilitating development opportunities for individuals at all levels in the practice
  • Role model inclusive leadership to drive a leading people culture in line with EY values

  • Have strong personal impact and resilience, and be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions

  • Be skilled in facilitating and encouraging collaboration amongst team members, and is capable of motivating teams to maximise performance
  • Be confident and effective in recognising and managing potential issues during client assignments
  • Have strong personal impact and resilience, and be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions
  • Structure and manage projects or programmes of work which meet client expectations and mitigate any risks or issues
  • To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experienced management consultant / HR professional at Senior Manager level with relevant experience in advising clients on large scale HR programmes and change projects within large and complex organisations
  • Breadth of experience in PAS change capabilities and large-scale transformation programmes, with a focus on sustainability
  • Proven track record of delivering HR related projects
  • Demonstrated track record of building client relationships
  • A proven track record of proactively managing client stakeholders, including providing constructive challenge, influencing decisions, providing robust advice, delivering difficult messages and managing performance issues, up to C suite-1 level
  • Relevant professional experience, working in Big 4, global management consultancy firm, Systems Integrator, niche consultancy or Blue Chip company / public sector
  • Strong insight into one or more of the following : Government & Public Sector, Energy & Assets, Consumer Products, Technology & Communications
  • Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A primary degree and any post graduate degrees and professional qualifications are desirable but not critical e.g. CIPD
