This is an exciting newly developed opportunity to join the Wheelchair Team working with the Wheelchair administration team within the Mobility Centre based at City Hospital part of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The role in fixed term or secondment (with managers approval) for 18 months in the first instance. The successful candidate will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills.
This is an opportunity to join a team of highly experienced administrators and be responsible for ensuring our wheelchair Patients experience a professional and helpful service.
The wheelchair service currently has around 15,000 patients served by a small, but dedicated clinical and administration team.
The post-holder will be expected to play an active role in supporting the wheelchair clinical team and therapy manager.
The successful candidate would be leading a team of administrators, who manage referrals, processing of orders, as well as communicating with patients, carers and other staff by telephone and face to face.
They will work with the Therapy Service Manager and the Clinical Lead to improve the administration processes, lead and motivate the team.
