Vashi is looking for an experienced Retail Operations Manager to support our Retail teams in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You will be playing a key role in defining the operational processes, policies and efficiencies that will allow us to scale our retail network effectively, always with an eye on the detail.
You’ll be collaborating with the store teams and key stakeholders in other departments to create and maintain the retail operations handbook, setting the standard for our new retail concept and ensuring this is deployed successfully into all stores.
Here's what you might have accomplished last week :
Created in partnership with the Retail Director, clear operational KPIs for store teams, to define what success looks like, and monitor on a regular basis
Developed and delivered best in class solutions for our stores working with external 3rd parties and / or internal teams (Tech solutions, Rota / HR Systems, POS systems etc )
Developed and implemented the Retail Operations handbook / store standard to ensure consistent and efficient ways of working which keep the client and front of mind across all stores, old & new
Reported back into the business on a regular basis on the Retail Operations strategy and progress against planned goals
Coordinated commercial and trade reporting for the retail team, ensuring feedback from the stores gets to the correct HO teams
Developed the annual budget with the Retail Director, and work closely with the stores and finance to track spend over the year
Supported with the management of new store openings, contributing to the critical path and project plans to ensure stores are opened as planned
Tracked and controlled non-stock procurement for stores (uniform, POS, pantry supplies etc..) ensuring brand standards are maintained and costs controlled
Worked with the training team to ensure all Retail Operations training is up to date and completed by store teams
Ensured relevant security, health & safety training and controls are in place across the network, and that stores are performing their statutory checks and responsibilities as required
Worked closely with the Merchandising function to implement a robust system for managing stock and stock movement
Managed key store projects and partnered with teams from across the business to ensure each project is brought in on budget and within the agreed timescales.
Worked in partnership with e-commerce to ensure the customer experience is as seamless as possible across touchpoints, whilst remaining robust from a data protection and stock control perspective
Been accountable for processes and procedures concerning inventory (delivery, stockroom management, handling, etc.).
In collaboration with production and operations teams, ensured that inventory management is being driven and supported across our stores
Supported the store teams with all day to day operational needs
Who you are :
Experienced in running luxury Retail Operations across multiple sites, you are innovative, organised and have great influencing skills with the ability to manage change effectively whilst building strong relationships across the business.
You will be engaging and confident, passionate about retail and able to influence those around you to change their ways of working.
Organised and efficient, you will have a keen eye for detail and a focus on the customer journey and commercial outputs.
Experienced in running Retail Operations across a multi site or large flagship luxury retail business.
Multi channel(or e-commerce) experience would be highly advantageous.
Most importantly you will be practical, collaborative and solutions oriented, and will enjoy working in a fast paced and frequently changing environment, with a passion for new challenges and projects.
