New York is home to the heart of our US operation, with a combined retail floor space of over 70,000 square feet split between our SoHo and 5th Avenue locations.

TOPSHOP TOPMAN SoHo is our first US store, opening its doors in 2009 and is a stone’s throw away from our Corporate office.

Our 5th Avenue store, located in the shadow of the Rockefeller Center is the state’s largest TOPSHOP TOPMAN. With these iconic locations and over 500 New Yorkers on the team, the pace and environment is incredible and keeps our customer coming back for more.

  • When involved in a difficult customer situation, actively seek advice from a Team Lead or Manager
  • Manage your time and tasks effectively, putting the needs of the customer first to ensure that tasks don’t impact on the customer experience

  • Keep up to date with what’s happening in the brand and the latest trends and product
  • Promote all brand initiatives which support a multichannel customer experience (e-digital, email capture and order in store)
  • Highlight any opportunities to do things better to the Team Lead and Management Team
  • Effectively process all customer transactions to minimizing cash loss
  • Play an active part in delivering daily targets and goals for the store
  • Take an active part in reducing shrink in your store
  • Maintain housekeeping and retail standards across the sales floor in order to drive silent service
  • Maintain a safe environment for your team and customers by following health and Safety guidelines
  • Knowledgeable on all Sales Advisor areas of responsibility and able to flex into support when required (Registers, fitting room, go backs, greeting and selling in the department)
  • Deliver on any Duties of Responsibilities (DORs) or projects assigned by the management team
  • Knowledge and adherence to all company policies and procedures

  • Demonstrate the ability to work with a sense of urgency, effectively balancing multiple requests and tasks
  • Work as a team player and identify when somebody in the team needs support
  • Help to create a fun culture that people want to be a part of
  • Effectively communicate with every team using all methods of internal communication
  • Respond positively to constructive feedback always seeing it as an opportunity to grow
  • Demonstrate Self-awareness and proactivity in regards to personal development and seeking opportunities to progress
  • Positively promote the Sales Advisors function with the rest of the store team and be seen as an expert in Sales Advisor skills and knowledge
