We are looking to recruit passionate Female Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in the Dalby Mead, Huntington, York Area.
Please note drivers are essential for this position and must be able to drive a manual vehicle.

That's where the role of a Relief Support Worker comes in! It gives you the flexibility to choose the shifts you want to work, based on your availability and the needs of the service.
As a Relief Support Worker flexibility is key as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts.You should have the ability to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays and shifts will be spread across mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep ins and waking nights.
Your flexibility is therefore essential for us to be able to meet the needs of the people we support.
We are currently in the process of reviewing our salaries. The salary for this role will be increased to a minimum of £10.
33 per hour (a full time annual salary of £20,144) with effect from 1 August 2022.
Our Service
We support people who live in a supported living service. Ages range between 29-74. All the ladies currently living at Dalby need support with living a full and busy life, the ladies enjoy wide ranging activities, and you could be doing anything from art and crafts to a hot air balloon ride.
Excellent communication skills are a must and there is some lone working in the service and so sleep overs are a requirement of the role.
There are a variety of activities enjoyed from music, drives in the car, walks and having fun with Makaton through music and song.
All the people we support in this service enjoy going out and about into the community, whether that’s going for walks, going to the gym or shopping but they also like to spend time chilling at home.

Not all Support Worker roles include high levels of personal care.
