About Us MarketFactory is a financial technology company that provides software-as-a-service to currency markets. Our platforms power currency trading that seamlessly connects to 90+ FX venues, delivers ultra-low latency, improves time to market and enables risk monitoring.

Currently, MarketFactory partners with over 100 banks, funds, brokers and ECNs / exchanges. The Role What we require is to expand our group of Product Engineers building trading connectivity for our clients.

Junior Product Engineers will join our venues production team to help develop client and trading venue connectivity solutions.

They will achieve this in a variety of ways : from coding our venues generation platform in C++ / Python / Java, using our Domain Specific Language to map venues, testing Venues with our automated test suite, to expanding the automated test suite.

The venues team has a wide range of skillsets and tasks. You would not handle all the listed responsibilities, but instead a subset based on what skills you bring to the team.

Key Requirements ·A computing related / numerate degree at 2.1 (or equivalent) and above or 2.2 with excellent 'A' level qualifications (or equivalent) with at least a grade 'A' in Maths or Physics.

Demonstrable skill in C++, Java, or Python.·Experience in using Linux·Strong problem solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Comfort with collaboration and open communication across different functions.·Strong work ethic, good written and verbal communication skills Responsibilities Build the low-level implementation of our venue automation platformBuild scripts to help automation of venue generation and testingMap trading venues using our DSL from specificationsIdentify and develop test cases for regression packIdentify any potential quality issues and escalate immediately to managementMaintain and follow company software development testing practices and standards.

Nice-to-Haves : Experience in financial services and / or trading systems.Experience with FIX and / or FX related products.

Experience in functional testing and of running automation frameworks.Understanding of automation tools and methodologies.

Understanding of common software failures and faults.
