Resident Mobile Engineer North Region

Ferrybridge 60% to 80%

Heywood (Bury) 10% to 20%

Burton-on-Trent 10% to 20%

The purpose of this position is to deliver planned and reactive works, audits and facilities support.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following :

  • Ensuring the highest standards and CBRE competencies are delivered and demonstrated through all works
  • Deliver Portfolio PPM and reactive works, both self-delivered and via Supply Partners
  • Supervise and organise Supply Partner visits
  • Ensure the Client, Customer and Team are kept in the loop’ through feedback and regular updates
  • Deliver a quality service, aiming for 100% satisfaction of the Customer
  • Provide technical support, advice, and guidance to the Customer
  • Ensure best value for money to the Client by ensuring accuracy checking resource and materials are suitable to effectively deliver the service
  • Conduct regular audits and report on performance to the Account Manager
  • Ensure safe deliver of all works, including those of our service partners
  • Administer CAFM Systems to ensure accuracy and delivery within SLA of all works
  • Ensure continuity of service by arranging works and cover
  • Produce and validate quotations for minor works
  • Ensure harmony and integrated work ethics within the CBRE and client Teams
  • Liaise with CBRE Regional Office Contract Support, Supervisors, Managers, and Sub Contractors to deliver work to the highest standard within SLA, as required
  • Build and foster relationships with the Client, Customer, other CBRE colleagues
  • Ensure timesheets and expenses are correctly submitted on time
  • Take ownership of the CBRE service delivering exceptional service to the customer
  • Accurately prepare and issue regular and ad hoc reports for the Account Manager
  • Accurately update and amend the Contract Folders, including eLogbook’s
  • Be available for duty management and response out of hours
  • Education :

  • Good secondary education with GCSE passes in Math and English
  • Training :

  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Qualified M&E Engineer, bias in either AC / Elec / Combustion
  • User level understanding of CAFM systems
  • Use understanding and working knowledge of Web-based database systems, eLogbook’s, Web Quote etc
  • Be a CBRE Authorised Permit Issuer (Electrical MWAH
  • Strong, multi-skilled competencies in Electrical, Mechanical, Gas and Refrigeration et
  • Experience :

  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Background in mobile engineering / property maintenance
  • Be flexible to work outside core office hours from time to time and travel
