Prospero Health and Social Manchester are currently looking for support workers to support young people and adults with complex and challenging behaviour associated with their current level of needs / mental health condition.

You will be helping them to live independently and working towards taking on their own tenancy.
The client group are young people / adults aged 16-25 whom are care leavers and can present with varying degrees of complex / challenging behaviour.
Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
Ability to form effective relationships with young people / adults whilst maintaining professional boundaries and to act as a positive role model.
Desirable Full driving licence and access to vehicle whilst on shift Enhanced DBS on the update service Relevant experience required Preparation for Independence / Life skills Community Support programmes / Outreach programmes Supporting Young People / Adults to seek employment / further education / employment Assisting Young People / Adults in becoming 'tenancy ready' Experience of working in support of Young People / Adults with challenging behaviours An understanding and experience of supporting Young People / Adults with Mental Health needs.
