The purpose of this role is to implement and embed a IFRS17 Calculation Engine into BAU to support RSA’s regulatory reporting requirements.
Key deliverables are to work with external suppliers of RSA’s IFRS 17 Group solution to provide technical design, development, documentation and implementation of the solution through test cycles and transition to BAU whilst embedding a strong control environment.
Once transitioned to in BAU the role will require management and delivery of external and internal change requirements whilst and support during the key reporting cycles.
There is also a requirement to contribute to the wider team BAU deliverables and input, design and implementation of process improvement and project activities such as Finance transformation.
Oversight and input to the implementation of RSA's Global Calculation Engine, ensuring accurate and timely design, build, test and transition to BAU.
Hands on build and design and daily direction of external resource and alignment with internal global finance and systems teams to ensure a globally consistent delivery.
Establishment and management of ongoing operational model and future change support & controls framework.
Confident in managing key stakeholders and external dependencies to determine priority and timelines for change with experience in decision making and logical problem solver aiding design and delivery timely and effective changes.
Excellent communication skills (oral, written) to provide documentation and training material / presentations to users
