Job Description

Aviva is undergoing a finance wide transformation programme led by the GFSC team. This global & ambitious programme aims at delivering the Finance Function of the Future and is composed of a number of programmes of which FP&A / BP transformation Group.

The Team

Part of the GFSC Transformation the FP&A / BP transformation programme aims to build a lean, consistent, integrated and global FP&A / BP function that will be aligned in terms of definitions & approach on a consistent data set & platform to best co-pilot the business

The Person

Reporting to the Global FP&A Transformation Lead, the role of "Global FP&A Transformation PMO Lead " is responsible & accountable to run all the Programme Management Activities for the programme in line with the GFSC & overall AVIVA requirements and practices.

The Global FP&A Transformation PMO Lead will for this purpose engage with a high number of stakeholders

You will also support the other project team members (e.g. Design or System leads) in the organisation & follow-up of their activities as needed

Duties & Responsibilities

The Global FP&A Transformation PMO Lead is responsible & accountable to execute the below activities (non-exhaustive list) :

  • Organise, facilitate & update as needed the PMO activities for the programme including governance / forums, PMO tool-kit, deliverable templates and other artefacts, etc.
  • Prepare all Governance forums (e.g. Steering Committee) incl. preparation of materials with relevant stakeholders (e.g.
  • status updates), distribution of Materials in timely manner as well as facilitation of meeting as needed, production & distribution of minutes, etc.

  • Preparation as needed of any communication materials and facilitation of communication as needed
  • Preparation / consolidation, overview & update of programme planning, Action plans & RAID log as well as ensure that all items are being progressed adequately and closed in a timely manner
  • Maintenance of Budget & resource plan incl. anticipating future needs and update as needed (incl. validation process), capture Actual & compare vs.
  • forecast, raise alerts, etc.

  • Prepare Job descriptions & execute recruitment as needed incl. running interviews, liaise with HR department or agencies, etc.
  • Support RFP & consulting firms engagement as needed
  • Any other activities required by GFSC overall programme, Internal Audit requests, etc.
  • Skills & Experience required

  • Strong experience in a large Finance Transformation Programme in an international environment and especially on system implementation in the EPM space
  • A desire and energy to work at pace, deliver quality, can collaborate effectively, and have a mindset and personality to resolve and drive through solutions to problems.
  • Attention to detail and a very high level of quality in the formalisation of deliverables
  • Ability to manage budget / plan effectively, understanding and challenging the commercial implications of the budget
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage w / various staff at Senior Level, adapt communication staff to ensure delivery, articulate clearly complex messages, etc.
  • Excellent Stakeholders management skills
  • Extensive experience in PMO in Finance change
