As a vital addition to the fast-expanding Screen School at London College of Communication we are looking to recruit a specialist Game Arts Pathway Leader to work as part of the BA Animation course team within the Moving Image & Digital Arts programme.
The Pathway Leader will lead the development of Game Arts curriculum and technical provision within the course, and support the development of this discipline across the wider Moving Image & Digital Arts Programme.
The role will be heavily practice-oriented, and will provide the opportunity to help shape the course as we continue to provide industry-
focused training and creative development opportunities. The Pathway Leader will also act as personal tutor to Game Arts undergraduate students and provide professional development and pastoral support.

As a professional industry practitioner, you will hold a relevant degree and will be able to demonstrate significant creative success and specialist knowledge in hard-
surface modelling, organic modelling, rigging, texturing and digital painting as well as an understanding of emerging practices such as realtime rendering
You will be forward thinking and visionary, with an understanding of the changing demands of the industry and a contemporary approach and understanding game arts production and research.
A relevant postgraduate qualification will be an advantage, while industry experience is essential.
Experience in higher education is desirable.
