Solution (Integration) Architect Reading Competitive Salary + Benefits As a Solution (Integration) Architect you will work in a cross-

discipline, agile and distributed team. You will develop high quality enterprise integration solutions which meet the demanding challenges on usability, resilience, performance, scalability and security.

Working alongside Software Architects & Developers, you will help contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process, practices, tools and techniques.

Reporting to the Lead Architect you will work with colleagues across IT & Business to champion increased use of API’s and lead the integration of business processes across disparate systems.

You will also act as an ambassador of the organization’s values (REDS) Reliable, Expert, Dynamic and Straightforward and to demonstrate the associated behaviours at all times.

The Role Strategy - Work with Enterprise Architecture and Heads of Delivery to articulate the strategy for Aldermore’s Integration platform.

Architect an integration strategy with cloud and on premise solutions which entails the following duties : requirements gathering, design, and POC.

Utilise industry knowledge to drive innovation and shape roadmaps for future state capabilities. Architecture & Design Clearly articulate integration best practices, design patterns, best practices, and recommendations to customer IT teams and also business sponsors.

Design and Develop vertical specific reusable assets that will streamline the development process. Document integration best practices to share with the consulting team.

Support effective architecture & design governance Delivery Partners with other solution architects to provide a consensus based scalable and adaptable architectural solution including peer review of solution architecture deliverables.

Presents and evaluates project designs at a technology governance forum to ensure architectural and strategic fit. Working with business and projects to deliver new services / APIs The Person Essential :

  • Expertise with technology standards BPM, SOA, B2B,EAI
  • Able to design complete solutions, including applications, infrastructure and security aspects
  • Experience designing, integrating, and managing moderately complex solutions (multi-platform, multi-technology, 3rd parties)
  • Able to shape the solution and leading technical delivery of large / complex enterprise integration solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of Java and open source technologies and frameworks, using object oriented development and design patterns, and optimised for the enterprise
  • In-depth integration knowledge using an open source ESB, specifically one or more of Mulesoft, Apache ServiceMix or JBoss Fuse
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API development and JSON
  • Expertise with SOAP-based web services, SQL, Apex, SOQL, XML, JavaScript
  • Experience with Middleware platforms like Mulesoft,Talend required
  • Good awareness of Dev Ops including Continuous Integration and Delivery using agile Configuration Management, Environment Management, Release Management practices
  • Experience of working in agile teams and working in an agile manner in a commercial environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • A track record of pragmatic application of SOA to deliver measurable business value
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and implementing appropriate Governance, Risk and Compliance processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
