The vision of the sales tools & systems team is to provide the strategy and governance for Enterprise sales tools & systems (including data within the sales tools & systems), enabling sales to sell efficiently & effectively.
This is achieved through performing the capture, identification, design & delivery management, optimization, and governance of process capabilities (and data) within sales tools & systems categorized as systems of record, systems of engagement, and systems of intelligence (analysis & insight).
Sales tools & systems include salesforce, CPQ, UKB / Agent Desktop, Partner Gateway, etc
This role ensures trading reliability for the Enterprise sales teams using the sales tools & systems by managing the deployment of new and enhanced process capabilities within the salesfore sales tools & systems, and triaging, responding to, and resolving in-
life requests (User / Access Requests, Service Requests, Incidents / Faults, Change Requests) from user groups.
The role will work closely with other sales tools & systems team members such as capability requirements, governance & demand, capability design, and optimization, and the delivery partners for the design, development, release, and deployment of capabilities.
What you'll be doing
Ensuring trading reliability for sales channels using process capabilities deployed within the salesforce sales tools & systems
Improving the UX of sales users by ensuring an efficient and effective in-life service model is performed by triaging, responding to, and resolving requests for :
Ensuring delivery partners deliver to agreed quality and time for requests
Working closely with delivery partners to identify and resolve root cause analysis
Highlight requirements for resource capacity and / or capability within service delivery partners
Inputting into recommended process capability designs within salesforce
Agreeing to the release and deployment of process capabilities and data within salesforce
Working closely with sales tools & systems work-streams (requirements, design, optimization & innovation, deployment & in-life operations)
Be Tech Savvy - Partners with the business and other organisations to develop understanding of new technologies and they're use.
Be Agile - Uses collaborative or agile test and learn approaches, contributing to projects and programmes as a subject matter expert or content owner.
Use Data Analytics - Uses complex data analysis to show underlying principles, process or systems improvements.

Give Specialised Advice - Offers expert advice on subject expertise building rapport with stakeholders as a trusted advisor.
Knowledge of commercial sales productivity drivers (revenue, margin, cost of sale, cost to serve), and the efficiency and effectiveness levers which influence sales force productivity Knowledge of BT / Telco product families (Mobile, Voice, and Access / Connectivity) and the product propositions.
Knowledge of Enterprise sales channels. Knowledge of lead-to-order process journey’s across New / Provide, Modify, Renewal.
Knowledge of lead-to-order process capabilities for desk and field sales teams (i.e. Territory Management, Lead Generation, Lead Management, Contact Management, Account Management, Opportunity Management, Configure-
Price-Quote, Contract Management, Activity Management, Forecasting, Order Management).
Functional / technical knowledge and experience of designing & developing capabilities within Salesforce
