What to Expect

NFU Mutual offer a wide range of insurance, from farming to your home and motor insurance, as well as financial services such as investments and pensions.

You will be part of a team where you will effectively communicate and build strong relationships with our Agency (Branch) Network to promote pipe line management and appointments.

You will process non-advised transactions and develop leads generated from inbound and outbound telephone conversations, to support our financial services proposition.

Role Specification

  • Respond to inbound calls and process proposals for non-advised products maintaining productivity levels and quality standards.
  • Identify all leads that potentially need advice and pass promptly to the Telephone Financial Planner to standards and criteria established in the SLA.
  • Implement initiatives for the generation of leads from inbound and outbound phone conversations so that lead production and quality targets are met.
  • Create records of all transactions ensuring they meet NFU Mutual and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with other Direct teams, Financial Planners, Agents and third parties to improve the quality of leads generated and lead to the development of the non-advised channel.
  • Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager.
  • This role is Monday - Friday with shift patterns of :

    Two days 08 : 30 - 16 : 30

    Two days 11 : 00 - 19 : 00

    One Day 09 : 00 - 17 : 00

    Person Specification

    The successful candidate should have the following :

  • Proven ability to work to targets.
  • Worked in a customer focused environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a small busy team working environment.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Good Communicator.
  • The following experience would be beneficial but is not necessary :

  • Financial background.
  • Qualifications

  • Candidates will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C or above (or 4 to 9).
  • FPC / CFP qualified desirable.
