The main purpose for this role is prospecting and lead generation to generate qualified sales opportunities for the Ivanti business Key Responsibilities :

  • Supporting the Ivanti business through the generation of qualified opportunities from marketing generated leads, targeted cold prospecting campaigns, events or other sources
  • Ensuring that Ivanti leads (e.g. from campaigns and events and inbound enquiries) are followed up in an effective and positive way to generate the highest possible conversion rate to sales opportunities
  • Identifying new target contacts and prospects for Ivanti sales
  • Distribution of any supporting sales and marketing material requested by a contact
  • Engaging with Ivanti sales teams to ensure that opportunities are of an acceptable standard and to gain feedback on quality
  • Engaging with Ivanti marketing team to gain understanding of market messages and to contribute to the development of propositions that are appropriate for telephone prospecting
  • Sharing best practices with other members of the team (internal and external)
  • Ensuring that campaign and opportunity generation progress and any sales and competitive intelligence is tracked and managed using the approved Ivanti processes and tools
  • Managing an on-going pipeline of contacts that have the potential to turn into opportunities in the future
  • Participation in other internal Ivanti activities such as team meetings, 1 : 1s, reporting, pipeline reviews, company meetings etc
  • Attending events to engage with prospects, share Ivanti messaging and qualify opportunities (this may include out of hours travel)
  • Meeting quarterly targets
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with latest product developments
  • Work Experience :

  • Experience of calling senior people within medium to large-sized organisations working across a range of departments including IT (mainly), HR, Facilities and Customer Service, Finance
  • Meeting opportunity generation targets
  • Experience of working on B2B technology outbound lead generation
  • Working successfully both unsupervised and also as part of a marketing team, supporting the follow up of marketing campaigns and events
  • Experience of interacting with : Senior level prospect contacts Sales teams Marketing teams Accurate and timely management and administration of leads and activities through the company’s Customer Relationship Management system
  • Technical / Professional Skills and Knowledge :

  • Fluent English language skills
  • Fluent / native proficiency in Dutch
  • The ability to learn and communicate the business benefits of Ivanti’s technology solutions
  • Good planning and time management
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Quick to pick up, learn and articulate new messages
  • Experience of CRM system (ideally Salesforce)
  • Behavioral Skills :

  • A proactive and confident nature on the telephone
  • The ability to initiate credible, non-scripted telephone conversations with senior executives, using experience and business acumen to encourage natural dialogue in order to gather information and build relationships
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Enthusiastic, Tenacious & Organised
  • Ability to work alone and also as part of a bigger team
  • Resilience, the ability to deal positively with rejection
  • Travel :

    Travel outside the Ivanti office is minimal but will be required for some events held throughout the year. External Recruiting Agencies / Vendors : ivanti does not currently engage with external recruiting agencies and will not accept unsolicited resumes from any external agency.
