Our client is a leading IT Professional Services company experiencing significant growth across Europe, driving in the need to engage a Senior Finance Operations Analyst to join their busy UK operations Department, where you will support a number of practices within the organisation including Project Management / PMO, Managed Services & HR.

For this requirement, we are specifically seeking London-based candidates with strong experience supporting financial operations in a project based environment, ideally within the IT Services / Systems Integration sector. Responsibilities :

Responsibilities :

  • Supporting the Operations Director with the oversight of all data-entry and processing through to finance from the PMO
  • Assisting the Operations Director with support of the PMO staff in all financially-based functions
  • Supporting client & internal MS Dynamics 365 FinOps projects - Producing & providing senior management with project related & ad-
  • hoc reporting required for further analysis & discussion

  • Taking responsibility for timesheet reporting, WIP related timesheet adjustments, administering the new workers / left workers analysis, running the missing timesheet analysis and any ad-
  • hoc queries related to timesheets.

  • Taking responsibility for Licence and BREP including Proforma, CSA, marketing, BIF, process and controls, renewals and new client project set up and supporting AP and AR to ensure billing is completed in the month
  • Supporting the Operations Director with subcontractor billing and project billing, subcontractor approvals, chasing time which has not been submitted and assisting Accounts Payable with posting and clearing accruals
  • Assisting with month-end processes including communicating deadlines to staff, reviewing and posting invoices, billing, project set-
  • ups and closures, revenue analysis, WIP adjustments, chasing and reporting unbilled time, managing the AP processing of project related invoices, rev rec checks and posting, invoice proposals, revenue analysis, general support to the business and ad-hoc tasks

  • Assisting with other monthly operations tasks such as corrections and credit notes, maintaining the subcontractors checklist for Accounts Payable, project set up support, finance support, milestone and rates support, project module maintenance and dealing with any expense or ad-hoc queries
  • Supporting the Operations Director with keeping the GDC Intercompany area of the business current. This will include time analysis and self bill, checking billing rates, updating active workers and running the PD calculation
  • Identifying processes that can further enhance operational capabilities across the business & sustain continuous improvement
  • Required Skills / Experience :

  • Significant experience gained as a Finance Operations Analyst, ideally within an IT services or IT project environment
  • Knowledge of general business, finance & operations processes
  • Excellent analytical, reconciliation and overall troubleshooting skills)
  • Good communication skills to deal with both internal and external customers
  • Project accounting knowledge
  • Good understanding of costing to support contract & sales tenders
  • Strong numerical processing ability ideally evidenced through formal mathematics qualifications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; especially good proficiency in Excel
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Dynamics 365 FinOps is desirable but not essential
  • Additional Information :

  • Salary Information : Basic salary £45,000 - £55,000 (dependent on experience) per annum + bonus + benefits
