This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing service, helping to develop a preventative and pro-active approach to disabled facilities, equipment and adaptations provision.
Working in the wonderful city of Sheffield you will be supported to gain extra skills through opportunities to work in a wide variety of client groups and specialisms : Moving and Handling, Working with Children, Neurology, Learning Disabilities and Behaviours that Challenge, Rapid Response / Duty Team, Dementia, Assistive technology, Hospital liaison, Housing, Major adaptations, among others.

Working within Adaptations Housing and Health Service, you will be experienced in assessing a person’s daily living activities and function holistically, liaising with a variety of colleagues and health professionals to successfully provide customers independence outcomes in sometimes complex and challenging contexts.
You will need excellent communication and time management skills and must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed.
You will also be able to demonstrate your willingness and ability to research innovative solutions have a positive and client centred approach.
Relevant IT skills and a working knowledge of the Disabled Facilities Grants legislation and process will be required although additional training will be given.
You must have a Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy, be registered with the HCPC and have enhanced DBS clearance.
