Summary of role

As a Senior Account Manager, in a world-class brand agency, your role is to manage client relationships to deliver projects to plan and to maximize client revenues and profitability.

Your role is an integral part of each client team and you will listen, manage, create and plan to make things happen. You are on top of everything, at every stage of the projects and beyond client, project team, workload, information, schedule, profitability.

Great' Senior Account Managers deliver more than projects; they are aware of the bigger picture internally and with your clients and have a view of the next new initiative.

They are trusted by both colleagues and clients, leading by example ensuring junior members of the team learn from best practices.


  • Effectively scope, plan and manage medium to large-scale brand programmes from initial brief through to launch, and post launch client support.
  • This should be done to consistently high standards, demonstrating initiative and leadership

  • Have a thorough understanding of the branding process and how all the required roles, skills, activities and deliverables need to come together and be planned and managed to deliver success
  • Able to spot potential problems throughout the process and have foresight of the consequences to avoid in the first instance
  • Have a good understanding of branding best practice and trends, in order to be a reliable advisor to the client and sell in Superunion’s capabilities
  • Knowledge to include but not limited to : brand positioning and architecture, naming, visual and verbal identity, guidelines and governance, employee engagement and implementation
  • Team-working

  • To have an input on the client strategy by sharing your point of view on the strategic and creative output with your team.
  • Sharing your own ideas, opinions and fostering an environment where others in your team feel comfortable to do the same

  • Engaging audiences with enthusiasm and authenticity we want people who are skilled in presenting ideas and eliciting desired responses
  • Manages the implementation and delivery of projects Controlling and managing the programme of projects being deliveredPreparation of client project briefs, proposals and project plansManage the resourcing of your projects in a proactive, collaborative and efficient way, working in partnership with the Resourcing Team
  • You will also be responsible for leveraging client relationships, pursuing and converting new business opportunities for Superunion working as part of a wider team.
  • Commercial

  • Manages key account tools, weekly financial status reports (wips) & status and contact reports
  • Setting out detailed, timely and accurate month-by-month forecasts against which resource can be planned, ensuring all project activity is delivered within timeframe and to highest standards
  • Responsibility for the accuracy of our financial reporting requirements including quarterly and monthly forecasting to WPP
  • Role specific professional and technical skills

  • Possess good leadership and communication skills and have a successful track record in managing small pitches / new business proposals, projects, clients and internal teams.
