About the role
This is fantastic opportunity to join us in our busy head office in Bournemouth in which you will be working within the Life Complaint Unit to coordinate, investigate and respond to Data Subject Access Requests and other Data Protection requests from customers.
You will be responsible for processing incoming data access correspondence in a confidential manner. The successful candidate will be able to identify and escalate any areas of concern or breaches, ensuring a safe environment for transporting data.
On occasion you may be required to support the data protection officer or the rest of the team . A key element of the role is building relationships with business areas including customer experience, sales distribution and product.
As you will be dealing with sensitive data it is important to have a keen eye for detail with accurate data entry skills.
With your excellent communication skills you will be co-ordinating with different teams throughout LV to aide you in investigating and responding to customer’s enquiries.
These enquiries will be received via phone, email or letter correspondence. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously without supervision are essential.
An awareness of data protection requirements and regulations would be beneficial.
