This is a rare opportunity to join a £65m business delivering digital technology services to public sector organisations.

  • Work includes strategic reviews, digital transformation business change, personnel resourcing, application development and website design;
  • across three divisions; namely Digital, Business & Technology and Professional Services.

    The business works on both a project and service delivery contract basis, encouraging clients to move from legacy technology and contracts to open platform, open standards based technologies.

    Clients predominantly lie within central government and associated arm’s length bodies, healthcare and local government.

    The business is looking to grow to £100m in the next 3 years and so are looking for an energetic, competent sales leads to help grow the client base.

    It’s imperative that you have technology solutions sales experience, ideally selling into public sector bodies. You will be solution and consultative sales orientated.

    Passionate and analytical, you will have a structured approach to account planning and developing a major sales pipeline.

    You will manage, track and support sales through the entire lifecycle including the bid process and negotiations. You will have an understanding of the Government Digital Services Marketplace Frameworks and the tendering process.

    You will understand the structural makeup of local and central government and who the key decision makers are to build relationships with.

    You will be expected to develop smaller accounts into larger strategic accounts. Over time, you will be expected to win new business with new clients and grow them into strategic accounts.

    You will be well networked with central and local government or arms length bodies, or with technology partners that have strong relationships accordingly.

    This is a very hands-on role and you will need to be an ambitious self-starter, able to work well on your own and as part of a team.

    You will have exceptional selling, communication and negotiation skills in a longer sales-cycle service or project environment.
