TheSchool of Arts brings together courses such as Advertising, Fashion Design,Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Interior Design, Product Design, LandscapeArchitecture, Photography, Photography Editorial and Advertising,Photojournalism and Documentary Photography as well as Visual Communication,within four subject groups -

Art, Constructed Environments, Design &Photography.

TheSchool incorporates undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD study with excellencein teaching, research and design for business.

The purpose of this role

We now have an outstanding opportunityfor a dynamic and passionate teacher-researcher in Landscape Architecture tojoin us in achieving our strategic priorities.

Youwill make a substantial contribution to the academic delivery and developmentof both the under and post graduate Landscape Architecture courses within the ConstructedEnvironments Subject Group.

Knowledge and experience of current landscapepractices, together with professional work experience in sustainable landscapedesign, landscape planning or environmental / ecological consultancy isfundamental to the role.

Tobe successful in your appointment you will be qualified at both undergraduateand post-graduate in Landscape Architecture or a relevant area, with experiencein practice and curriculum development and teaching at Under / Post Graduatelevel.

  • You will have a record of research, submission and REF rating, withinthe conceptual development of critical ideas and thinking within a designcontext;
  • we particularly welcome applications from early career researchers andthose with industry experience.

    Acommitment to working within the context of a team and building on thesuccesses of the many award winning courses within the School of Arts is alsoessential.
