The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward.

As an Internal Communications Lead, you'll work in a rapidly growing sales team with dynamic leadership, and drive the day-to-day internal communications program for Google Cloud’s EMEA sales president.

An equal mixture of strategy, coordination, content creation and planning, you’ll devise creative, fun and non-standard solutions to help communicate the company’s strategy to their teams, the wider Google audience and industry partners.

You'll appreciate complex issues, break them down, and coach executives to engage on those issues in written (e.g., emails, blog posts, FAQ) and spoken (e.

g., strategy presentations, videos) forms.

You will be a curiosity-driven, organized team player, and help execute strategic communications campaigns, write compelling messages for leadership, create thoughtful presentations for internal meetings, and find innovative ways to engage employees and build a shared culture.

You will need to be able to crisply summarize technical and business concepts in writing and in person. You will also enjoy highly collaborative roles, working with teammates, leadership, internal partners in PR, HR, Operations / Program Management to keep audiences large and small engaged and informed.

  • Develop an internal communications strategy and plan that aligns with Google Cloud EMEA’s strategy and vision.
  • Partner with People Operations and internal stakeholders to develop high impact communications that connect employees to the vision, mission, and values of Google Cloud.
  • Work with the leadership team to engage employees and communicate company strategy and direction.

  • Develop, write and edit internal communications for senior sales executive, including emails, scripts and presentations.
  • Plan the frequency and channels of communication and coordinate stakeholders across different areas of the business.
  • Project manage internal communications strategic plans, taking ownership of tactics and outcomes from beginning to end of the project.
  • Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in communications, including both internal communications and executive communications.
  • Experience working closely with executives, business leaders, or senior technical staff and leading a team.
  • Experience with executive writing, and producing speech and presentations for internal or external audiences.
  • Preferred qualifications :

  • Experience with go-to-market operations (sales / marketing) and communications.
  • Experience building and executing new programs, and managed them to scale.
  • PR experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, kinetic environments.
  • Excellent written communication and collaboration skills, as well as project management experience.
  • Effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.
