THE ROLE.The Integration specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of enterprise level integrated solutions for both new and legacy systems.
The position will support the development of an improved data architecture and data strategy and require a close working relationship with functional subject matter experts, developers, and product managers.
It will support the development of web services and integrations using Mulesoft. A willingness to learn new applications and design new solutions are critical to the success of this role and the ability to work within a flexible, changing environment is a must.
This role will analyse, design and implement integration services which can be re-used across the business, initially focused on the enterprise data framework (EDF).
This will involve working across teams, with frameworks and toolkits, to design and deploy a leading-edge scalable integration service.
Act as the lead in the development and assessment of all interfaces required to support application integration
Seek opportunities for automation and leverage Agile and DevOps to optimise delivery practices, working across teams to ensure successful adoptionIdentify modifications needed in existing services to meet changing user requirements
Manage workload to a high standard, ensuring delivery to timescales and quality
Maintain a high standard of code and design documentation, ensuring all relevant systems and data comply with IT standards and procedures
Take responsibility for the technical engagement with 3rd parties to determine the integration methodology and mapping to data schemas
Work closely with the functional leads to analyse and translate the business requirements into technical integration requirements
Ensure successful delivery of systems integration from 3rd party and internal systems
Ensure Alignment between all parties for the successful execution of integration User Acceptance Testing
Integration Experience - Mulesoft strongly preferred or with a comparable API and ESB in technology related field.
Experience in software development and delivery.
RESTful or SOAP web services.
Familiarity of frameworks such as SOAP / XML, REST / JSON API's and tools such as GitHub.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
Exposure to financial data integration (SAP / SAP B1 preferred)
Knowledge of relational databases, data integration, messaging bus and ETL tools plus SQL.
Knowledge of relational database management and administration practices.
Experience with SaaS integrations (Salesforce preferred)
Business Process Management (BPM) experience desired and ability to define, implement and manage, the business rules associated with business processes using rules-sets and decision tables.
Experience with large-scale system design and integration tasks.
Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and a problem solver.
