Export Control Practitioner

We currently have avacancy for an Export Control Practitioner at our site in Barrow.

As an Export ControlPractitioner, you will be working for BAE Systems Submarines within the LegalFunction, in the Export Control Department.

The role will be a part of theExport Control Programmes Team which is responsible for providing exportcontrol support across all of the Submarines programmes.

This role willprovide you with an opportunity to work with multiple stakeholders, providingSME support and guidance to all levels of the business.

Your main responsibilities as an Export ControlPractitioner will involve :

  • Provide input to Security and Cyber RiskReviews
  • Provide input to Stage Gate Reviews
  • Review and advise upon Supplier DeclarationForms
  • Ensure required authorisations are in place forthird party transfers of export- controlled material
  • Review and advise upon change requests,considering any export control impacts
  • Responding to programme demand by providing anysupport or guidance needed to resolve issues
  • Complete assurance activities to assess compliancewith export control policies and procedures
  • Conduct investigations into potential breachesand take corrective actions as required
  • Your skills and qualifications as an ExportControl Practitioner :

  • Experienceof working with SAP
  • Experiencein Supply Chain would be useful
  • Experiencein a governance or commercial type
  • Experiencein Project Management would be considered
