Deputy Head of Nursing Inpatient CAMHS
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional nurse leader to join our team. Based at Parkview Clinic, this role will support the Head of Nursing in ensuring that high quality care and treatment is delivered to our young people and that our nursing staff have positive experiences in the work place.
This role will require the post holder to have strong, clinical, operational and compassionate leadership skills, with a key strength in quality and governance.
This post will be based at Parkview Clinic Moseley, Birmingham. This service comprises of 3 wards, with a total of 34 beds.
We are currently undertaking a significant review of both our models of care and physical refurbishment of wards. This is an exciting time to contribute to these changes! Young people age 11 18 are admitted to this Regional Service from across the West Midlands
Applicants will be motivated with experience of leadership and inpatient experience. They will possess excellent organisational, communication and clinical skills relevant to the post and be able to act as a positive role model.
They must be committed to the on-going development of service and multi disciplinary team working, which aims to deliver the highest standards of patient care for young people and their families experiencing mental health difficulties.
This is a full time post working 37.5 hours a week. We are committed to ensuring the successful candidate is supported through clinical supervision, training, and development opportunities
The Inpatient CAMHS service, part of Birmingham Women’s & Children’s NHS Foundation Trust was rated as Good’ in all categories when last inspected by the CQC (report received February 2017).
