Single Status Grade 4, Points 9-10 (Salary £18,933 - £19,312 pro rata)

Actual salary £14,455 - £14,734

We are looking to appoint a Science Technician in our Secondary Phase of our All-through school. You need to be enthusiastic, confident and an organised individual.

Reporting to the Senior Science Technician, the successful candidate will be required to support the existing team in co-ordinating the use of practical resources and facilities.

You will be trained with an emphasis on safe working practices to provide assistance to the practical needs of the Science Curriculum.

You will work closely with the Science Teachers and Technicians.

We expect applicants to have passion for Science and in supporting pupil’s learning. Your duties will be varied and there will be opportunity to develop within the role.

You will have good communications skills and a flexible, self-motivating attitude with a willingness to learn from more experienced colleagues.

Work Permits : we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.

Due to the restrictions we cannot guarantee that individuals that meet the requirements of the Points-based Immigration System will be issued with clearance to obtain work permits.
