£9.48 per hour plus enhancements for weekend shifts (rises to £10.18 after 1-year service)

Here at Serco we are looking for several Pateient Catering Assistants to join our team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
As a Patient Catering Assistant you will work as an integral part of the Ward catering team ensuring high quality service is provided to the patients.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination of the patient meal and beverage services in accordance with the Ward Timing Schedule, and you will contribute and organise the maintenance of a hygienic and clean environment for patients, staff and visitors to ensure the highest standards are met at all times.
What you’ll need to do the role
To be considered for this role you will need previous experience working within a food service environment / catering industry and knowledge of Health & Safety and Hygiene.
It is desirable that you have Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification, however this is not essential. You will need strong customer service skills and excellent communication, both written and verbal.
This is a super important role as you are ensuring patients, staff and visitors have access to food and water during their stay at the hospital, so we are looking for people who are passionate about helping others and working within a healthcare environment!
