£27,000 per annum


An exciting opportunity
has arisen for a Membership Assistant to join the Membership Team for The
Birley Clubs
based in Fitzrovia, London.


The Birley Clubs
operate some of the world’s most
iconic private members’ clubs; Annabel’s, Mark’s Club, George, Harry’s Bar and
Bath & Racquets Club.  


The Membership
will have responsibility for supporting with all administration
relating to Mark’s Club and Harry’s Bar membership, the Club Waiting Lists and
assisting the Membership Team with general administration duties.

Key responsibilities
will include:


the Mark’s Club and Harry’s Bar Membership Team as the point of contact for all
Membership enquiries relating to Mark’s Club and Harry’s Bar via phone, email
or letter.

the Membership Team in the management of all administration relating to Mark’s
Club and Harry’s Bar Waiting List, new Member elections and existing Member queries.

Salesforce to create new members and memberships, adding direct debit details and
changing any necessary details on Salesforce such as email addresses, home
addresses etc.

and filing of forms

with payments and refunds; including taking credit card payments over the phone
when required, issuing refunds for duplicate payments or resignations and
running Direct Debits, recording the ones that fail

credit card payments over the phone when required or providing payment links,
issuing refunds, and running Direct Debits, recording those that fail

invoices using templates

all members who do not pay by deadline

reminders over mail merge and responding to all email replies

regular reports to update renewal tracker

regular reports to get all clubs up to date mailing lists for marketing team

of all stationery and print collateral, working with printers when necessary



We are ideally looking
for candidates who have:

Previous experience of working with customers/clients
directly with account/booking queries

Excellent communication skills both oral, written and
telephone manner

Excellent numeracy skills

Previous experience working with a CRM database,
ideally Salesforce, would be desirable

Be highly professional, articulate and well presented
at all times

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to
prioritise tasks and meet deadlines

Be highly motivated, with the ability to work within a
small, process driven team

Approachable persona and a good sense of humour

Highly proficient computer skills with at least
intermediate level Excel skills


will be required to work Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm with some out of hours
possible. The successful Membership Assistant will receive an attractive salary
