SEMH Teaching Assistant
For this SEMH Teaching Assistant role you will be required to support a small class of 9 students in KS2 in and out of the classroom.
When working in the classroom you will be working closely with the subject teachers to manage the behaviour of the students and assist them with their work, this will include Maths, English, Science and various other subjects.
During the student’s morning break and lunchtime break you will be required to oversee their behaviour making sure everyone is safe and no one is in any danger.
The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant for this role will need to be positive, encouraging, approachable and have previous experience working with children or adults with Mental Health this does not need to have been within a classroom setting.
Found in the borough of Wandsworth, this SEMH School caters for students aged between 5-17 years that have Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
They currently have 70 students on role and in their last Ofsted in 2018, they were reviewed as good’ in all areas.
