Description

We are currently looking for an Assistant Account Executive with expertise in B2B communications. The successful candidate will be a highly ambitious, proactive and motivated individual.

They will either have a grounding which incorporates B2B experience or possess relevant skills that the candidate can demonstrate that they can apply within a B2B context.

Passion for developing a career with B2B-related clients is a must. The candidate will be able to support the day-to-day operations of large to mid-

sized global and UK accounts, and be able to confidently build client relationships on key pieces of business. Client servicing

  • Confidently contribute to client meetings and build client relationships based on sound advice and the consistent delivery of strong work
  • Support senior account handlers to promote a client-first’ approach to working collaboratively across departmental teams and throughout the wider businesses
  • Proactively identify and flag opportunities to share valuable insights and best practices with clients
  • Contribute ideas on where the team can add value to client accounts or help spot growth opportunities with existing clients
  • Communications marketing

  • Stay on top of industry news, trends and influencers in clients’ business environments and be able to share and apply these to client programmes
  • Support the development and drive implementation of innovative communications programmes, which involve execution across owned, earned, hybrid and traditional media
  • Write a wide range of insight-led content to a high standard, from opinion pieces, media releases to case studies
  • Draft PR toolkits for other Edelman offices to use in markets (e.g. Europe & Asia)
  • Build and develop strong relationships with trade media and tier one national media Confidently sell in news stories to publishers and maintain media contact databases
  • Provide highly-organised, reliable and detail-driven support for industry events for clients in a range of different formats, including roundtables to webinars
  • Stay in tune with new emerging communications trends and be able to share how these could apply to B2B client programmes
  • Lead day to day programme delivery, monitoring and reporting at a global and national level, as well effectively supporting local market activity co-ordination
  • Help to identify new ways to diversify B2B campaigns through best practices within the business and the wider industry
  • Understand complex stakeholder landscapes involved in developing and delivering brand campaigns for large, international, high profile organisations and interpret this for application in day to day account delivery
  • Organisation and account management

  • Manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously
  • Deliver high quality work to tight deadlines, including research, ideas development, written and numerically-focused documents (e.
  • g. reporting and measurement) across a range of applications e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MailChimp etc

  • Support the development of resourcing plans to deliver highly skilled, yet efficient teams to deliver excellent work
  • Requirements

  • Experience in developing and executing creative and measurable content across traditional, social and digital channels, thought leadership, events management and executive positioning are highly desirable
  • Ability to absorb complex technical information quickly and relay it in simple and engaging written or visual formats.
  • Ability to build media relationships and has a keen eye for a good story
