As a Materials Engineering Placement Student you will have the opportunity to play a key role within a team of specialist engineers, working on understanding the relationship between the structures we need to create, and the properties of a material to support performance and manufacturing feasibility.
You’ll work to develop the key materials technologies, in order to enable continued performance and durability development of the Hybrid Power Unit.
You will have the autonomy to actively contribute by managing your own materials research and development project work, enhancing your materials characterisation skills with access to a wide variety of equipment.
