You will be contracted for 37.5 hours, spread across 5 / 7 days a week which will include some weekend work on a rotation basis.

The current shift pattern is Monday Friday 9am - 5pm, and every other Sunday (when working a weekend day, you will get a day off in the week).

Some flexibility is required as shifts may be changed with reasonable notice.

As a Brakes Data Processor, you’ll be responsible for managing customer sales orders that have come in via the website, or through written order forms :

  • Processing customer sales orders onto SAP as received via post and email
  • Managing customer orders on our internal ordering system
  • Contacting customers to resolve any queries and to advise of products that are unavailable
  • Verifying accuracy of order content and obtaining further information from customers for incomplete documents
  • Ensuring orders are processed for next customer delivery day
  • Ensuring accuracy of customer and account data from source documents
  • Keeping information confidential
  • Sending confirmation of orders via email where applicable
  • Assisting in administrative tasks in relation to the customer order process
  • You’ll assist in the achievement of the department’s targets and objectives, ensuring profitable sales growth is met / exceeded.
