Job Description

I am currently working with a growing and ambitious care provider and registered charity that is currently looking for appoint an experienced Regional Operations Director to take responsibility for Supported Living and Shared Lives Services in the North East.

As a company they are a growing and ambitious provider of shared lives, adult fostering and supported living care to adults with mental health and learning disability care conditions.

The role will be working as part of a team of 3 with responsibility for a locality of Services between Doncaster and Teeside dependant on location of the successful applicant.

There will be an expectation to travel to head office a couple of days a week and be visable in the locality throughout the rest of the week.

As the Regional Operations Director you will have responsibility for :

  • Leading operational activity across a designated region comprising a number of localities where the charity operates
  • Supporting locality teams to meet strategic objectives and provide a service which is caring, safe, effective, responsive and well led
  • Being an active officer member of the Board of Trustees and work closely with Trustees of the Charity
  • Liaising with local commissioners regarding contract requirements and level of service delivery as well as exploring development opportunities
  • Leading on tender opportunities in conjunction with business development colleagues
  • Taking overall lead for the charity in respect of agreed areas of activity
  • Applicants looking to apply should have the following skills and experience :

  • A track record of working at Regional Manager or at least multisite level
  • A history of working with service users with learning disabilities and mental health conditions
  • Supported living experience is a big bonus but transferable skills will be considered.
  • Sound commercial and budget management experience
  • Proven ability to focus on and improve on quality.
  • Salary Circa £40,000 plus mileage and package
